PhilB66
Hi PhilB66 here. Sorry for the delay, I was away 'up North' on business last week and since I was almost there already decided to have a weekend in the Lake District!
This will be my first ever marathon. My plan has been for a GFA sub 3:15 and aiming to pace for 3:10 to give myself a bit of leeway. Training went really well in Jan and Feb and I was just sub 2:22 for Wymondham 20 and all looking good. Since then, has been a disaster with recurring achilles problem. Started Colchester Half last weekend and was going reasonably OK on sub 1:30 pace when felt achilles start to tighten and decided to pull out at just under 5 miles rather than risk further injury. After more physio and a week or rest, seems to have stood up OK to my hill walking weekend (It's everything else that aches now!). Will try an easy run tomorrow.

Have just obtained print of myself running Wymondham 20 in kit that I will be wearing on 17 April, so will look to scan that and post in next day or so.
Look forward to seeing you all soon!

Wazelle the Gazelle
You might have speedy runners and me. Even if I run a PB on my chubby little legs, that will be 6 hours 17 minutes.
I have posted a photo of me in the bee costume I will be wearing in the run gallery.
Starting to feel nervous.
