Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

(it takes some getting your head around but it actually works most years - it goes wrong if something gets a special pass like that drinking vinegar two (three?) years ago)

I think the Female Nobel Laureates are going to struggle in the big leagues.

I can't remember the slightest thing about the Silly Season Christmas Supermarket Shopping in Jan.

Was it shit, or am I just getting old, and losing a few marbles?

We did it in late December which meant we only had to have one DM a month this year. It was really good, I think. Trying to find the spreadsheet.

I think it was the one with 'mazripan' in it?

The format was weird - we did that mini-groups of three. There were 12 left coming into round 5:

After Eights
Bacon Rashers
Bin Bags
Christmas Pudding
Fresh Cream
Mazripan
Parsnips
Salmon
Sprouts
Toilet Roll
Whiskey
Yorkshire Puddings
