Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice set of "K"s, minardi. And belatedly my added admiration for WA's "jump" photo.

Agree that that's a kestrel. Good pics Minardi. Nice work from WA, an excellent jump one and clever to think of Juliet balcony.

K is for knowledge.
Passed on by a kind Japanese professor who showed us how to knap obsidian, and how it differed from working with flint. A knowledge shared with a combination of visual, tactile and unspoken guidance about respect and care for the material. Impossible to be passed on other than through human interaction.

K is for knots.

K is for killed.
(Could have found bird/mammal kills even locally, but framing them without being disturbing for some, so hopefully this is not so jarring.)

Loving the knotty trees, and the knowledge. Barney looks thrilled to be in your pic minardi!

I didn't get the K I was hoping for today, it will have to do next time.

Instead,
K is for

Kirklees. Parts of it are glorious and beautiful. I'm lucky to live in one of those parts. Then there's Huddersfield, possibly one of the ugliest places in the uk!

Loving the pics! K is another difficult letter! I've been in bed all day with a splitting headache, just had a shower and going to try eating something, hopefully I'll feel well enough to go for a short walk at least... Thanks for brightening up my sorry Saturday though xx
