Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Phoneless again today as a result of thinking more about Tennessee than anything else, but I did fill up a drinks bottle using this before setting out to walk to the newsagent this morning. Low marks for originality, I know!

A couple of indoor pictures from home. The owl (it’s about 5 or 6 inches tall) lives above our Aga on the wall in the kitchen and some of the walls are painted orange. The shade is actually called ‘swans beak’

Like the artwork DT. They look like oystercatchers I think. And they have orange beaks. To match the wall

Good friends of mine run the Oystercatcher B&B in Carbis Bay near St Ives - they have lots of orange about, in beak form or otherwise :) Shame I'm not closer or I could have swung by there for a photo

We have occasional oystercatcher here (two flew over on Saturday evening noisily) but we had loads where we used to live in Wharfedale

Roll on when your friends B&B is welcoming guests again!

Here’s a Post Box with Palm Tree in sunny Teignmouth. I drove to exercise today and it was a refreshing change to run on the flat instead of among the hills.
