To be honest when I did the measure I was so busy concentrating on the line, counter and traffic to even notice any scenery around and about!

Thanks for the bridge facts Dvorak and good to chat on Wednesday evening! Enjoy Stirling everyone. This will be my third Stirling marathon, first race in my new age category!! I quite like the fact the route has been different each year

With Stirling in mind and just for info, there was a post yesterday on the Stirling Triathlon Club's FB page asking about interest in an open water Triathlon around the University.

Good luck all - we will likely be somewhere in the centre/ near the park or at Toast cafe at Forthside (as their food is good!). Can be easily spotted by being the very pregnant one. 😂

I'm a little envious (but not enough to do it again), my memories on FB are all about me doing Stirling last year. Good luck folks

Looking at the course map for Stirling, if I'm looking at it right, the surface between miles 15-18 isnae great. Well, wasn't when I biked it last week.

I did wonder if it might have been patched up for the marathon, because it has been in parts a shocker for several years. Barely a road in bits (or: barely a road - in bits).

Following all the folk I know doing the Fling, wish I had the balls for it!
