I'd be up for that Happy! One of my boys is dead keen to get me out on the bike too but again I've been a big wus. Copenhagen in May though, so I need to get my arse in gear and get focused!

Can't say I have, G: though I did notice that first female at Falkirk today was a JW11-14 and third a JW10. On checking, both from Falkirk Vics. And second overall was a JM15-17 from the Vics.

Lots of good runners were at the Tillicoultry 10k yesterday. Seemed a fast field, first two men were sub 30.

OM, what about Kirkintilloch 12.5 km in February? Although it's just up the road from me, one I've never got round to. 2020 might be the year! Ice on the hills apparently made some sections a bit interesting this year. entrycentral.com

And who's doing what for NYD doubles? Strathclyde and Tollcross for me I think. Might have run Victoria first, but the novelty of the reverse Strathie wins oot. And the extra thirty minutes recovery before i whimper my way roond TX

Thanks D, Kirkintilloch is only about an hour away, so easily doable. I've also been snaffling sleepovers with my daughter in Glasgow and my step daughter in Dundee, so am very flexible in terms of where I could race.

Kirkie race is a cracker. But as mentioned it is hilly and was challengingly icy last time I did it. A group of us ran together with a lot of verbal warnings and pointing to ice patches to keep us all safe.
