Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Did the Oriam parkrun trial run this morning, very wet underfoot but a nice out and back route and good coffee after.

Definitely not a flat route and narrow enough in places to cause problems if they get big numbers, I also predict complaints from Garmin addicts about the course being short, but it's a twisty route under trees all the way so there's no way the GPS will be accurate

Was my description accurate LG? It has been a few years.

Other than out and backs, are there many one lappers in Scotland Ally C? I can think of Fort William and Perth, but have only done 60% of the events.

Absolute mudfest at Inverness today.

Yeah pretty much although we were about 10 minutes slower than our normal. Big puddle right across in one section. I quite liked it.

Did the Stirling uni parkrun yesterday also. I enjoyed it although definitely too tight for the first half mile. I found it easier to pass after that. The finish may be a problem in the winter months as very slippy yesterday. I think it will be a very good parkrun when it settles down and they get into the run of things.

Yay.

Didn’t quite smash it. Limiting losses towards the end. Was a great feeling when I entered the track knowing it was done and heard a shout from other fetchers who had already finished.
