Feedback from Stirling Uni Parkrun last Sat is ‘fast & flat’.
First week turnout 360 & although fastest time was 16:20, next was 17:20 then 18:20 (Jennifer W was 4th just behind). Race director told everyone to go for breakfast in Refresh cafe in Willow Court, but forgot to warn the cafe so they ran out of everything & it was mobbed. Should be ok in future though now they know. Course is 2 & a bit laps of the uni loch, mostly decent surface. Overtaking is a bit tricky so start well up if chasing a time.

500th was back in June, Saturday, will be event 518.
After the inaugural, it took over two years to break 300 finishers, and a further year to hit 400. In this year's Festival surge, attendances went from 764 to 850 Attendances since, 580 to 671. Last week's event still drew 21 parkrun debutants and 26 doing a second run.
Good luck at Abingdon Bazo, rooting for you .

Stirling Uni Parkrun this morning, not a bad course. Not a fan of laps though.

I ran Stirling Uni as well, didnae enjoy it much. Too crowded for the narrow paths, especially with poor conditions underfoot in parts.
Plans for Edinburgh or Indeed anywhere else, fell to the weather. It did give me a chance for another hurl on an e-bike though
In fact I'm still at the Uni, sun's oot and it's looking autumnally magnificent, so i may wander ower to the xcs.
