3rd place in the Rousay lap today. 13 miles of wind, driving rain & hills.

Not even 20 runners participating😀

Usually around 100 folk for this event, walkers, runners & cyclists doing it for the local RNLI. Weather mental though😂

Another new Scottish parkrun launched last week :-). Dean Castle Country Park parkrun, plugging a definite gap by giving Kilmarnock a parkrun. The weather probably kept the inaugural numbers down a bit to 164, I'd expect a few more in coming weeks. One for a visit for me, I think. parkrun.org.uk

57.5 Degrees of Pain
At Drumpellier a lady was given a shout out for completing the Scottish events. Only those nearby heard my 'what about Kilmarnock?' comment.

There appear to be a few new ones coming soon to keep completists on their toes.

Anybody know why Polkemmet Parkrun has ceased? For the time being anyway. Safety concerns apparently, but no details.

There was mention somewhere of vehicles accessing the route, but not knowing the route, I don't know if that's the cause.
