Stirling 10K for me on Sun 8th. Anyone else doing it. Haven't done it for years. It will be a CW (course worst!) but I'm ok with that! :-) G

I’m doing Cumbrae 10mile sightseeing adventure next weekend. Was supposed to build my mileage back up in the lead up but never quite got round to it, oops.

Pz.. I did the 10 miles earlier this year ( the fun runners event) -oops I looked a prat like a competitive dad at school sports day. But it's a fun trip on the ferry, Cumbrae is a lovely little town and its a flat course, apart from a little climbette about 1.5 miles from the end.. enjoy :)

Missing the Stirling 10K for only the second time since 2006 :-( This is the first occasion of it being through sheer inability to do it. (The other, 2014, was due to electing to finally run the Lithgae 10K instead.)

Yes SoaPM, pulled achilles badly in 10K race in May. Just when i thought i was finally back to it after being ill last year. Enforced very little running, no rush to find it's not fixed yet, and so fitness generally way down.

Looking back at past Stirlings, i especially looked at training in August 2015 (last good one). Wow, i was doing so much then, compared to now. And possibly taking it a bit for granted, thinking it would all just carry on.
