Interesting what Dvorak said about the length of the half as my Garmin said 13.32 today. I just assumed it a glitch.

My garmin said I did 26.50 miles so can I claim to be an ultra runner? Lol

A marathon is an ultra run as far as I am concerned;)

Congrats to Paul A on 1st MV50 (did I pick that up correctly?)

Seems like on FB a lot of grumbles about the hills at Dunblane and Uni. Sorry to hear it's not very well supported. For all the advertising and razzamatazz (and money) I would have hoped it would have been better received? :-) G

The hills weren't that bad as you can't help but have hills where I run. The last one didn't look that bad on Saturday but I guess after 25.5 miles it was a bit of bugger.

Did the Stirling Half. 7 miles went roughly as planned but my knee went and had to run/wlk the rest to finish. I thought the route was good and have no real complaints.

I did feel for the marathon runners. Was tough for them to get past us on Gogar Loan (especially the people with headphones who couldnt hear the keep left shouts.)

I supported at the Uni last year but that was always going to suffer from the route change meaning less access.

Thanks Happy G, AG win and my 300th so a good day yesterday. Stirling has such potential but they have to sort the times of the starts out to avoid the faster Marathon runners getting snarled up in the slower HM runners.
