The Belly Is Gaun Tae Get Ye
Drat, no Fetch Mile for me as I will be in Lanzarote. Where is the track in Springburn that is proposed?

Very unlikely to be at the Mile, it’s the first weekend of the school holidays and we are very unlikely to be in the country.

I should be able to make the mile. Anywhere in Springburn is a gentle warmup jog from my parents' flat.

We'll probably go to a parkrun in the morning too, so if there's anyone who can't make the afternoon, it might be another opportunity to catch up with various friends.
We may or may not have a hire car; and we may be stopping in the centre of Glasgow, or further out. With that vague brief in mind, what's the one parkrun we should aim for?

I would support one of the small ones. Ruchill or Drumchapel. Both friendly, Ruchill is undulating like most Glasgow events, Drumchapel is hilly!

I should also say that they are both very close to Springburn.

TBIGTGY - it's called the Springburn Sports Hub I think. It's used by Springburn Harriers, if that's any help identifying it. I expect I won't know much more about it until June
