Kind of looking forward to it, but I have low expectations. Hummed and hawed over entering as I wasnae comfortable at the thought of being rubbish at the race with my PB and second best 10K times. But I've been missing racing and its just up the road, so ...

A couple of runs this week have provided slight encouragement that it may not be as bad as feared.

Looks likely to be a bit damp though. And cool. And breezy. And worsening later.

BBC bbc.co.uk saying just 9mph at 10am, which I thought was OK for September - what forecast are you using Dvorak ?

Met Office. 10mph, gusting 21 and strengthening Southerly. Ie into it for much of the second half, though not at least the finish.

1058 entries noted - I predict 857 finishers.

There's loads of parking nearby, marshals will direct you.
