Ill post this here, it's really a website query, but hopefully someone will know why my standard ranking isn't higher. It's sitting at 69, but I have run quite a few parkruns at 70+ and two 5 mile races at 75 ish . Does only your best pitch at each distance count over the year ?

Yep, needs to be at 3 separate distances. From the blurb on the Standards page "To gain a standard, you need to complete races at any three distances during the year"

HG, I have run it once, although on looking back I see to have been sans-Garmin that day so I can't link to my stats. It has .. if I remember... one moderate hill which you go up twice. With a trip around the duck pond .

:-)G - check the training log for Murray ( kk ) for 4th June 2016.
There's also a map and course description on the Kirkcaldy parkrun website, but I guess you knew that already, so must be the elevation you want to look at

Magic, thanks guys. I knew Soap you'd done it, and Dvorak, but couldn't find training log for it. I'll try kilomikepapa, thanks Gus. Yes, elevation, pace, maybe see if there is a description of the underfoot etc. G

Perfect guys, thanks. Looks like 1 wee hill 0.5 mile into the lap x 2 maybe. And tarmac path? Seems good. PBable Soapy? G

A good solid tarmac path all the way, and wide enough so that overtaking shouldn't be a problem. PB ? I'd say it's a slower course than Cramond because of the hill - not a big hill but Cramond is, as you know, totally flat and the round the duck pond bit has some tightish corners, Cramond you can run at full gas all the way
