That ultra looks good. Think the KitST team are the ones who did Jedburgh 3 Peaks Ultra's timing? Duchess could prob confirm. End Sept might clash with Glenmore and/or Loch Ness - but doesn't matter as not everyone can do every race.

Lots of nice cheeses in Scottyland, that's true. And chutnies and jams. Heather honey. Sure, sweeties - tablet, soor plooms etc. but nightmare for dieters! :-) G

I do like the look of Ochils.

Shout out for a slightly smaller but no less beautiful little race around Taynish (near Tavyallich in mid argyll) on 13 May. Not the easiest place to get to but I have ran there loads on holiday - lovely area.

I suspect it may be a bit too late for my annual trip to Knapdale iaincr. Might speak to MrsR thought as the race falls on her birthday and she is a big fan of the area. "Lets go to your favourite place for your birthday, oh and by coincidence there is a race there on the day of your birthday - what luck!"

win win or black eye?
