Don't think the other bridges will be that busy on NYD ;-)

Although the Resolution Run has the bonuses of being later; and free.

New Year update:

Livingston parkrun inaugural is 9th January. It is the trial on the 2nd, so don't just turn up ;-). Course starts near Almondvale Stadium and is along the riverish.

Lenzie Jog has at last been announced for the second, as usual (I'd wondered if it was not being held due to being on a Saturday). Nearly everything as usual, except the price has doubled :-o. Now £2 :-). As it starts at eleven, could just be combined with a parkrun (more easily if you can get a non-parkrunner to enter for you).

Should be a quick journey from Springburn parkrun (which I'm sure would appreciate a few more runners) to Lenzie!

A more challenging double is the Inverness parkrun followed by the Nairn Turkey Trot. Might need fast running or swift driving.

Forth Road Bridge re-opening early than planned, tomorrow morning, which may be useful if anyone was thinking of some of the central Scotland parkruns on Christmas Day
