The route for the Commonwealth Games Marathon was announced yesterday - bbc.co.uk Bit disappointing to see it's a 2 lap course - prefer 1 lap courses myself, not sure whether the top boys would care or not. The text on the page says the course crosses the Clyde 4 times over the 26.2 miles - have they not got that wrong, looks like it crosses it 4 times per lap ? What do the west coasters think, does it look a good route ? Potential for Glasgow to re-start an annual marathon on this route in future years ? |
