Ah, cheers Baz - never heard of Figgate Park myself, had just assumed it would be on the Prom, but thought it could be a bit busy there, so if they've found a quiet park then that makes sense.
Cramond is/was getting too big, although with huge wide path then can cope - this should ease the numbers a bit.
Not so easy to get to for me, but will no doubt give it a go sometime !

According to the Edinburgh Parks directory it has a distinctive burn. That might put folk on other threads off a bit! Looks like the course might have to go up and down said burn a few times as the park is small.
I think I may even have run close by, I ended up in that part of Edinburgh when I had a bit of a navigation fail at the back end of Holyrood Park.

One full lap up and down the length of the park measures 1.06 miles on the Fetch Routes, so looks like 3 laps ?
If it's fairly level, then think it may be less exposed to the wind, so maybe a good option compared to Cramond on windy days

Forth bridge was to be my last race of the year but the stress fracture has put paid to that, my come along and shout folks on, enjoy it Jonny, I do love running over the bridge
