TDad, yes whisky was real and was of course still tasting it during the promathon. Great turnout today and another lesson learned for me - go to the toIlet early! Race was delayed to allow everyone to register so thought I could sneak off to the toilet and didn't make it back in time for the start.

TDuck, I may do that as my first xcountry (since school - long time ago).

Happy New Year all. I hope all you Portobello runners had a good time!! I over did the wine and 'just dance' on the Wii last night so only did a very slow, very short jog as the first on my quest for 500 miles in 2012, in awe of you having done 1000 in 2011 tripletdad:)

Duckinator, who is organising the XC in Broxburn so I can have a look at it? Thanks

The XC Champs in Aberdeen a few weeks ago were great. I'd really recommend it GW & jacs.

Upcoming races in Scotland

parkruns

There are 8 regular parkruns in Scotland which are held every Saturday at 9:30am.

Current locations are Aberdeen, Camperdown, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Inverness, St Andrews and Strathclyde.

Updates will be provided if we find out any races are not going ahead.
