Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Grangemouth hadn't filled up in 24 hours like some other races, when I looked this morning. Plenty time Bazo. Keep foam rollering - I'm doing it in my sleep now! Foam roller vs. Injuries. C'mon the Roller! :-)G

Grangemouth never fills up but does have a reasonably large field for a 10k...Normally part of the uni champs so attracts some speedie runners.
I'll be there in some form whether running or marshalling. Hopefully i'll be ready to pb it again should i be on the startline!!

Bazo - wrap yourself in cotton wool untill race days;-)

I know a couple of folks who did Devilla this year, and they both loved it. Neither of them are particularly fast runners. It's on my bucket list for 2013 so it better not be for speedsters!

Devilla's pretty much for anyone. Don't think even the speedies could be too speedy on some of the terrain - a lot of it was forest trails or forest 'roads'. I even did a spectacular face-plant going through the woods ;)

I've just checked my 'proposed' roster for next year - I'll be working that weekend :( Although I do have a swap still up my sleeve....

Devilla is fabby, easy to drive to just over the kincardine bridge at tulliallan, lovely muddy forest trails round loch and over streams with proper coffee at the end. I was last as per! but had a lovely tailrunner for company all the way round who kept me right. Think entries will be opening soon since its listed on EntryCentral.

From another thread I've started...

Hi East Central Scotland Fetchies - I was supposed to be running with Blind Ken this Sunday as a guide runner, but can't make it. Is anyone else able to help out?

I said to Ken I'd post something here and in Facebook.

It would be 2pm Sunday 30 December in North Berwick. Distance will be about 8 miles (Ken will nominate the route - he knows the area like the back of his hand.) Pace would be about 9 to 10 min/mile (very wind dependent, given the horrendous weather we're having at the mo!)

Please reply here, fmail me and/or Blind Ken or my mobile is 0776 707 2684. If you've never run as a guide runner and you're not sure if you can do it, let me assure you, you can do it! Contact me for further reassurance!!

Thanks, and spread the word please. Cheers, G
