Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I know what you mean about Ayr, but it's a nice course Stirling U I've only done once. It was fine but too tight in too many places.

Aye, no such a bunfight after the first doonhill, and the people who lap me can get by ok.

Meadowmill today was hard gaun. Tbh by aboot haufway I just wanted it to be finished: unfortunately I still had another 18 minutes to run. It was all the grass: by far the hardest "flat" parkrun I've done. First finisher (a tourist) was a full three minutes ahead of second. Course record.

Good to see the Tom Scott back, entered this morning. Did Strathclyde parkrun on Saturday, my first wee visit to my home parkrun for various reasons since September.

Planning Faskally parkrun tomorrow....

Expecting a tough course, with 3 loops... (can't be worse than stonehaven!)

Any other Fetchies gonna be there?

I did Stonehaven, Drumchapel and Faskally Forest over a period of 3 weeks. Even encountering a day when Stonehaven's flat grassy bits were boggy and hard going, Faskally Forest was the slowest and most painful of them all!

Never done Dunfermline although it is probably quite close to me. Think I did an HM that may have covered some of the route though c2010.

It's going to be a "tad" windy tomorrow. I am part of a club relay team for the Devil's burden at Falkland. I am not sure yet if I am looking forward to it.
