However, I'm chary of how much of the course is in common with the 12.5km. Anyone who's run that will realise why

I was amazed that Michael Rimmer goes on every single run with her (on his bike) - that is some dedication from him too. I work with my wife, but at least I can got for a run to get some me time, that must be challenging being together 24/7. Seems to work well for both of them.
