Son of a Pronator Man
Great turnout for Spikey this morning. Fetchies, Falkirk parkrunners, Linlithgow members and 10k organisers and work colleagues. Very moving to see it .

It was good to see you both. As you say it was nice to see people but terrible circumstances.

Enjoyed our takeout drinks and walk

Did the Perth Parkrun course earlier. They tarred the tree root section along the river to make it nice & flat.

Was on the way home from hillwalking in Glen Clova so stopped by😀

Excellent. The muddy bit back from the furthest end is the hardest in winter, when it's wet. No path there though. :-) G

First proper race since lockdown earlier. Waves of 30, take yer own medal from a box, no water stations, registration team in masks, two portaloos.

Apart fae the hellish climbs, it worked well imho.

Helensburgh Ally ?

30 sounds quite big for a wave, I thought most events were doing smaller groups than that, but not done any myself.

I'm considering Loch Rannoch - they've currently got a 10k, Half and Full over the weekend of 17-18th October - may do 10k or half

A crowd from my running club went Ally and had a great old time. I had a pang of fomo but I made the decision early on to write this year off.

My exception will be if South by Five is on this winter but I fear that it'll either be called off or there'll be a mass rush for entries by folk desperate to race. Not that I'm fast right enough, I'm always at the back but it's great fun and I'd hate to miss out.
