Actually, you can get c o c a i n and e out of Chan, in and moneychanger are those "odd parts = anagram", and "short = not all the letters"? Pretty convoluted if so!

Bit too convoluted HappyG. If it doesn't use all the letters it will tend to have some rule for selecting the ones used. Getting c o c a i n e here would be random, I think.
