Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Recommendations please oh wise Fetchies. I lost my Sennheiser CX Sports a while back :-( and need to replace them. Don't want headband type ones, just good quality sound at a sensible price that are reasonably sweatproof.

I like yurbuds, they fit well and don't fall out, I think the sound is fine, though I'm not fussy as usually listening to podcasts

I've been using Shure in-ear phones since before I started running. They usually last around 2 years before the cable gives up the ghost. I found a solution with my last pair in that the cable is replaceable - I.e it plugs in to the actual earpiece rather than being soldered in.

So last time the cable gave up I was able to replace just the "cheap" bit and not have to replace the "expensive" bits.

Except...

"Genuine" Shure replacement cables were a bit toppy, I thought. So I bought a cheaper copy.

In short, I like Shure sound quality. Not entirely convinced by their build quality.
