It's all a scam to make us listen to the podcast, don't fall for it.

No. But equally, that changes this from being a reason to get out the door, to a "why bother?" situation for me. No point me collecting numbers to try and guess a number, when someone can just target the right number, chuck it in, boom, done. Disappointed.

I think the reference to the answer being in the podcast refers to the answer to when Lord Fetch's birthday is, NOT the actual RUNDLE answer.

And Fetch has said that the answer does NOT fit a date in the "YYMMDD" format, which is helpful as it gives us info about what combos to NOT try in positions three and four, and/or five and six, although it would be helpful to know which aspects do not fit the "YYMMDD" format - the MM or the DD or both... (if you fancy giving us any more clues fetcheveryone :) ;) ).

Anyway, this has definitely got me more engaged with my running again - there's no way I'd have done over 8 miles yesterday if I wasn't chasing numbers!!! I'm off out again shortly, although several of my numbers are in very wooded/'tree-y' areas and hubby has counselled against it due to the gales... but gotta get dem numbers - DAMNIT!!!

I also have a complaint about this game, now we're talking about it.

My wife broke her ribs a few weeks ago running (don't ask). She should be resting, but this game has her out collecting numbers, like some sort of limping, side-clutching addict.

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Sign up, and you'll see your local map, with ten black markers - each one containing a digit. Collect these on your runs, rides, walks (and swims if you're lucky). It's GPS only, sorry. When you have enough digits, try and guess the secret number, which is anywhere between 1 and 1,000,000. If your guess is wrong, Rundle will tell you whether you are too high or too low.

All Fetchies are chasing the same number. You can choose to share your intel from your guesses - or (moral dilemma) you can try to throw everyone else off the scent.

If you're the person who guesses the right number, you get a snazzy new badge. The secret number will then reset, and the game begins again.
