I don't think I have ever watched so much telly... not since 2012 anyway. And on that occasion I didn't multitask with laptop, desktop and ipad.

I think it's been a better Olympics for Team GB than London. Not just in the amount of medals, how many near misses as well did we have? Very few of our athletes over all sports didn't perform to the standards expected of them.
Did anyone see the interview with Liz Nicholl, the head of UK Sport yesterday? Very revealing on the demanding mindset they adopt. You can see how it filters down to the sport directors, coaches and ultimately, the athletes. Never happy, always looking for that little extra. Marginal gains isn't just for the cyclists any more, it can be applied to all sports.

I still missed stuff though - especially in the athletics. I didn't realise that Emily Diamond had been ill as one of the things I didn't watch was the women's 400 heats and semis.
And last night - even though it wasn't that good a comp - I managed to NOT see the Women's HJ. I know I can still trawl around and find stuff, but I'm flagging I have to admit.

They're repaying last night's action on BBC1, Morgan Lake has just cleared 1.93
I watched the red button feed last night so I had completely commentary.
Although it's sad it's coming to the end it will be good to go back to normal sleeping patterns again!
