We got buffs made for our club race goody bag in 2012 - they've been very popular. I love mine and have seen tons of people running out and about in Harrogate & at parkrun with them. They were ordered from Up & Running and strictly speaking we have to call them Choobs as they are not Buff trademark but a similar product.

goldbeetle - if you contact Up & Running head office (I think there is a number on their website - if not I can track it down for you as I know one of the buyers). I think they can get the Choobs for about £1 a piece and you can have your own logo on for a bit more. They design them and then get them made up in China. Anyway, PM if you want me to see if I can get a contact name for you.

Cotton Ts are rubbish. My generally get worn to bed or for cleaning or gardening. I'd much prefer a tech top.

It's probably been said before, but paying £40 to run a marathon and then getting a tech vest, with nothing about the race on it, and a size too small, a pre-printed "official finisher's certificate" with a blank space for your name (really personalised then), and a goody bag containing a few leaflets advertising some shit or other, does not amount to value for money. Unless of course you're the race organiser, making a massive profit.

Nah, I'm SO over that! I can't remember what I did with my cotton salomon t-shirt though, perhaps the opening poster wants it!

Nevermind all this t-shirt nonsense, surely all anyone really wants after a race is the warm satisfaction that comes from knowing you've feathered a small part of Brendan Foster's retirement nest.

Am right or am I right.
