MvdP seems to have had a dig. Was that a deliberate attack or was he just better on the pave and opened a gap by accident?

Definitely on purpose. Probably trying to get WVA to do some work instead of just waiting for his teammates. Smaller group would also be useful.

Well it's extended the gap to the the chasers but not sure its improved the winning chances from this group. This sector could be interesting though...

Yep, it's all vdP and WVA closing him down isn't it?

(By the way, thanks to all of you on here that get involved with the watch-along for the classics. I'm the only one in this house that's interested and it makes it much more fun/ interesting. I've learned a lot.)
