If it is I forecast a weapons grade strop from at least one of our gang.

Got an email today reminding me to "print my convocation" which will be needed when I pick up my number... any idea as to what a convocation might be??

C_S it's your entry certificate, basically. Log in to your ASO Challenges account (where you registered and paid to enter) and there you can download a PDF which includes your bib number and start- pen colour.

I have no such email yet. Not in Spam either....
Did anyone else pay the £5 to send your splits to a mobile phone as you go? I think I put my partner's number in at the time but I can't remember...no emails about that since either.

I have also found this form and printed it.
It's occurred to me that I should probably think about what I am going to take with me and what I need to do - like getting Euros etc etc. CS are you taking hold luggage on the plane? I am definitely taking my running kit in my hand luggage though!
I bought some Saltire patches to stitch on to my running top, I have a running-suitable kilt and a Saltire sweatband for my arm. I also have a small Saltire flag which will fit in my waist pack to wave at the finish, which is a lot more suitable that taking my victory cape of a Saltire, more commonly seen in the stands at Murrayfield.

Subtlety? A fine art long lost on me....

I will be aiming for hand luggage if at all possible, because CDG airport is utterly shite and luggage often goes missing, but if I do need hold luggage, everything I need for the marathon will certainly be in hand luggage!

I have my scotland flag style vest top, and I had hoped to get up to court jester to see if they still had those light weight kilts, but time is rapidly running out :P
