The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Who would fancy a Nottingham parkrun meetup at some point this year?

I'm going to suggest either Beeston or Wollaton.
Beeston is flat and is along the canal and the river
A choice of two different cafes afterwards

Wollaton is hillier - up the hill to the hall, down the hill and round the lake before back up to the hall and down the other side (assuming it's the summer course).
There's then either a cafe in the park or potentially a pub just outside that opens at 10 and do...
