At first I read that as you’d be at the 20 mile mark in 2:20 and I was thinking “wow, dippers is a bit speedy.”

Seren: son's predicted time "given the weather and injury" is 3:30.

He hasn't got a colour yet and thinks he will be given it at the expo. Does that sound likely?

I thought the same as Dio about dipps. I thought about it a number of times before I worked out what she meant. I think dipps is worth a punt on Sunday. :)

His number dictates which colour start he is and whether he starts at Greenwich or Blackheath although he will get that confirmed at Expo.

- Running Numbers 401 to 23370, 24471 to 25810 and 59481 to 62800 Blue Start on Blackheath. Use Blackheath station
- Numbers 23371 to 24470 and 25811 to 30920 Green Start on Blackheath. Use Maze Hill station
- Numbers 30921 to 33380 are Fast Good for Age competitors. Assemble at the Fast Good for Age area, outside the main gates of Greenwich Park. Use Blackheath station
- Numbers 33381 to 59480 Red Start. Use Greenwich or Maze Hill

Thank you Seren. His number is 18891, so presumably blue start. How useful you are! - I'll tell him.

I took SweetPea's and Marigold's phones tonight and said they can have them back in an hour. We're now at 2 and a half hours and neither has asked for their phone back. And there's no TV on either.
Wonder what they're plotting?

Turned out he knew already.

This morning I went to a coffee morning, bought a strip of raffle tickets and won a basket of fruit.
