I have rented a apartment for 10 days, the apartment is about 1/2 mile up from Central Park. Training has been pretty good considering I did the Helsinki Marathon 11 weeks ago. I got my No: yesterday, going off in the Orange Wave 1. Did you see you can have dunkin doughnuts for breakfast on Statin Island, is this the food for a PB

dunkin donuts (yes donuts, not doughnuts :P) for breakfast....mmmmmmmmmmmm go for the boston creme donuts. I used to LOVE those ones. Enjoy the usa...don't forget the long lines you have to put up with at customs....get those fingers and eyes ready! |

Where is the best place to Carbo load in NY? When I went to Chicago we found this great pizza place which had some lovely deep crust pizzas, there must have been half a zillions calories in it

pizza in NYC?? every other deli and restaurant literally. Though it all depends on the quality of the pizza you are going for. If you want pizza quickly then go to any kind of place that serves it. But there are really good places to eat. You just have to have a bit of patience and willingness to explore and find them. If you are looking for something nice and sweet and a really good treat for yourself, then I highly recommend a slice of Junior's NYC cheesecake, to be found on the basement floor of grand central station. Every year when I am in the city I always visit juniors to get some cheesecake. I just don't recommend you have a slice the night before the race. |

Nope, orange. Which is blue then? First or last? Not feeling great about this one. Had a horrible 12 mile run this morning. Hip/hamstring/buttock quite sore by the end. The thought of 14 miles more of that doesn't fill me with optimism. I'll be glad just to get round |

Was hoping for sub 4, but as I said, I'll be happy to finish. I'll be really pleased with a sub 4:15 at the moment.
