...... I've ordered another one from Buckingham Bikes, they reckon their getting them on the 4th March, he even checked with his supplier and called me back......
i'll believe it when I see it --probably end up with two of them coming end of April

tempting, but it seems unlikely that a small trader can get them when the big boys whole with garmin in volume (wiggle, handtec, sweatshop, amazon etc.) can't.
Cotswold reckon they've got the whole of the allocation for the UK distribution. It's not even available in the US until mid-March.

also I did check them out a bit and their supplier is Madison.co.uk who state on their website...
we now proudly boast as being the UK’s leading distributor of bicycle parts and accessories, as well as the UK’s fastest growing motocross and freesports equipment supplier
and a cursory look from my postcode show they supply 25 bike shops within 50 miles of where I live, which as I live in the lake district is pretty impressive.
I think the story is Madison is getting a supply and they will be sent out direct from them, but I still agree with you flanker that it seems unlikely
