When Dan Archer returns from WW1 to take over the tenancy at Brookfield - this had actually been promised to Joe Grundy’s dad (also a George Grundy). This is why Joe always believed the Brookfield lot stole the Grundy birthright suttonelms.org.uk The radio play is very good, I have it on mp3. Not sure it’s publicly available though
