Drunk in charge, well it might depend where she was sitting and where the car keys were
The fruity cider will be connected to George as he bought it in the shop and surely people at the party will recall him drinking it, perhaps in sufficient quantity too

She was parked on a public road, the keys were in the vehicle and she was sitting in the driver's seat initially before George moved her, then she was moved to the passenger and then to the driver's seat. Sleeping it off in your car can still get you done for drunk in charge if the keys are in the car. Plus she'd have had to leave it longer than the next morning for her to have been sober enough (as in enough alcohol out of her system) to have driven. So all in all, it's a rubbish thing to do.

Keys may be justifiable in the car if they’re say in a bag in the boot?
I thought the issue was them being close to hand (same as if there’s a weapon)

I think it's one of those, you can be done for it, whether you would depends on the full circumstances. My background is ambulance service not police, so I don't know the inns and outs of how it all works.
