Yes the local curry house helped me with which items don't have any animal products in and which can be adapted. Sadly they cocked up the order so I had no rice tonight. Hey ho. Ate tonnes of poppadoms in substitute.

And yes, HP, I should have got the delivery guys to bring the boxes upstairs but I worry about the cats getting out (they are indoor cats and Clyde isn't well).

I need to be more demanding

Both ended up in next door's garden with cracks in the metal frame so were constructive total losses to use insurance terminology rather than missing/lost

I guess that's the trade off for living so close to the NDW, Dave.

I'd rather live there and sacrifice a couple of trampolines :-)

Evening, sorry about non reply earlier but we have the little one to give his mummy & daddy a break. Thanks for asking after son...he tried to eat something yesterday but it didn't stay in place for long so he hasn't had anything today but I don't think any new spots have appeared today so that's a positive. Hopefully not Having Alfie around yesterday or today has given him complete rest. Blood results should be back on Monday.

Attempting to put my 2lbs on this week by having half a dominos pizza.

Has he been not eating all the time he's been ill, LG? He must have lost a lot of weight.

Ernie ran back and forth between the window and the living room door watching the delivery men coming and going. He was delighted when he finally got to say hello and got a proper fussing. I presume cats are even harder to contain than an excitable puppy.

Bint I suspect my being 4'10" makes delivery men more amenable to my requests.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
