Ds1 took himself off to Japanese without me waking him, screaming at him or making groany noises. Hurrah! The sun was rising about an hour ago and the sky looked amazing

I go into his room and his iPad is blaring away at 5000db and he's snoring peacefully. Plus left to his own devices he's been consistently late for school this term, so I've had to intervene. He's also not feeling 100% but had a few days off 'sick' when he was clearly fine, so I have to call him the boy who cried wolf and shoo him off even though he's not feeling that great. Teenagers, gah. Second coffee coming up
