Wind and rain howling round the house all day, - so glad I was swimming rather than running.

Circuits this evening for me. Or, as I had to call it when speaking to my mum earlier, 'Keep fit'. :-)

I went to a gym based "class" called Power just now. It turns out that I was the only person so it didn't go ahead. The rower I tried to warm up on before wasn't working either. I came back home again.

On a bus

The woman behind me is talking VERY loudly on her phone.
I thought she was waxing lyrical about her child: called Jerry, she and her boyfriend wanted to reaffirm their commitment to each other,so bright for his age, can pull himself upright and support his own body weight, pictures on Facebook...
Turns out she's talking about her hamster

I just found some spare rechargeable batteries for my house phone and have changed them. I should be able to talk on the phone a bit longer once they are charged up.

Bright for his age? A hamster? *despairs*

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
