Cat has been medicated
Need to medicate the teen in a bit. He's sleepy but a much better colour and more himself.
Alder Hey were really thorough as usual and we are quite reassured. Doctor who saw him was clearly senior and had read his notes and knew his full history and the chronology of what had happened. Explained her reasoning well so we knew not to worry. Proper sensible stuff too - he needed medication which they didn't have in department and we had with us so they found a way to let us give it but have it properly on his records in case his condition changed.
Any more dodgy pukey episodes we are to go back otherwise outpatients as per existing booking on Monday.

Alder Hey is a magical place. When you need it they can always muster up at least one person who knows exactly what they're on about even for a rare condition.
