Hanneke Sep 2023 10:36pm, 5 Sep 2023 110,098 posts	0 Hanneke I nearly died of pneumonia aged 12, as "it is just a cold" was a chest infection and cycling 10 kms to school in the cold and wet the whole week turned it into pneumonia and my first near death experience. A fractured wrist was also no excuse not to cycle to school. Put a plastic bag around the cast and get on with it.

Charlotte was another one who went ages with an undetected fracture, an elbow that the local hospital completely missed a week of pain later we took her to the main A&E to find this out. Although other than wearing a sling for 2 weeks there wasn't much treatment for her.

Shame it was my right arm so I couldn't write! Need to jog Crap sleep as kept waking up too hot
