Lily’s is July 22nd, normally just after the end of the summer term. I reckon the best time for a birthday, for a child is October, to have something to look forward to in the interminable period between summer and Christmas

Fortunately, I was brought up in a religion that actively ignored Lent as one of the opposing lot's man-made affectations. One of my children was born in July. Being enormous in the summer was unpleasant. The others were all spring lambs.
