Half day today, haircut, then off to a 40th party on what my mum used to call a “riverboat shuffle” (party on a boat on the Thames). I was worried that being on the river meant I’ll have no opportunity to slip away early and then I was reminded that it’s the 30th anniversary of the Marchioness sinking 😳
