Took the dog for a run. Did token clean of the visible bits of the kitchen. .B. do you work in that town that sounds a bit like Inspector Morse’s sidekick?

Sends plates round to all who wanted. We've eaten our fill and there's still loads left.

I might take you up on that offer pedro, home after a long detour and no idea what to eat. I made ds2 jacket potatoes, I might make some more for me now actually.

I shall decline macaroni cheese as I am currently devouring cottage pie. It’s a faff and uses too many pots but tonight it’s worth it.

I don’t like cottage pie much.
Jacket potatoes are out of the microwave and into a hot oven. Ds2’s had 3 hours to cook and were super crunchy but he always wastes the outsides and eats the insides!
Pink wine while I’m waiting, I have a book on the go which I’m unsure of so I might ditch it and start a new one.
