Wriggling Snake
Quick hiking holiday update. It just stopped raining...it started raining 11 hours 25 minutes ago. Kit failure. A difficult day.

Strawberry jam, Fleecy? Though from memory I think strawberries freeze quite well, spread out on a tray so they freeze separately rather than in a clump.
Daisy - tiger moth?

Oof WS. Sounds, er, wet. On a related note (but probably unwelcome in the Snake camp) - I've just watered our roses as I can't remember when it last rained properly.

I can confirm that the traffic around Fleecy’s area is rubbish

It’s always terrible round here Dio, that’s why I try not to drive because it’s so annoying.
I made strawberry jam, Columba. My freezer is full. Strawberry curd to make next.

Making dinner. A mundane evening awaits. Ironing, packed lunch making, washing up. Am going to try to go for a very short run.

The forecast's for a bit of rain tomorrow, I'm not holding out much hope for much, if any, down here. The poor gardens need it.

Rain would be great, none forecast here for the next week though. Massive load of courgette fritters, yum. Watching a film from the 90s and marvelling at the blue eyeshadow, tragic outfits and terrible, flat film quality.
