Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mrs D's car had a flat tyre. Discovered it doesn't have a spare, just sealant and a compressor.

Did that, then had to hose down the drive because some of the sealant escaped.

While I did this, youngest daughter, who was feeling unwell, was sick.

No, a suitable receptacle was in place beforehand.

I didn't know there was a "meaningless products" thread (ChrisHB)
I didn't know there was an alphabet thread (.B.)
I didn't know there was such a thing as portable wifi (AR) (How on earth does it work?) (*off to llok it up*)

Feeling very out of touch...

Evening, tidied away the garden furniture, took the cushions indoors to store in the loft, threw out old tins of half used paint. Don't know where I am going to store everything I have in the shed when my summer house arrives, I might see once it's built if I have room at the side for a starage box of sorts.

Have just spent a good hour looking for the details of our house contents insurance. I thought it was with Direct Line (it used to be, but isn't now), then I found some paperwork for LV (it used to be them, but isn't now) and *eventually* I remembered that it's all online and it's AXA.

And then I read the policy details and realised that OH's new bike will be covered anyway, so there's nothing needs doing to add it.

Salad, tortilla to follow. Mr fleecy came home then went straight to tennis so I'm assuming he's not eating, nice leftovers for lunch tomorrow then.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
