Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Kids did their transition day earlier this week, all sorts of political issues if who is in what class.

Festivalling today 🎟

Reached the point of Friday afternoon when my brain packs up for the weekend. Might have a cup of tea.

After two days lurking inside rather than face it I have now spent an hour plucking the feathers out the lawn. Sitting on the swing seat with a cup of tea enjoying the view. Feel much more splendid

LittleD had transition day this week, too. She said it was 'meh'. This is high praise.

We didn't have transition day when I was in primary school, we just turned up on the first day of the year and listened for our names to be read out and hoped we got an ok class.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
