Hi all, I'm going to make this year my best ever running year. I've entered MK marathon as my spring marathon and Berlin marathon for the aut. With plenty of running, gym and running races to do during the year. I've not used the fetch website much but am going to now as I didn't realise you could do so much on this web site. Has anyone else entered MK marathon- new route this year so should be faster and more scenic. |

Welcome to Fetch. It is indeed a great website. I'm doing the MK marathon as well. The new route sounds good.

Likewise. Hopefully there will be a bit of a Fetchpoint* too. * A number of Fetchies shouting support and handing jelly babies out at about 20 miles. |

I'm doing MK too. I didn't know about the Fetchpoint. That would be brilliant.

I will look out for the fetchpoint. You all seem a lot more organised than me with the races you have planned this year. I do shift work which includes weekends so can not plan so easy. May be my next plan hast be different job so I can do more running LOL. I'm following a straight forward plan for this one but would like to have a go at breaking my PB for Berlin marathon. If any of you have good training plans do let me know. I've been running for over 20yrs so have lots of experience (good & bad) but have never followed plans or gone on websites like this. S |

Selkan, I quite like the Hal Higdon plans and in recent years have used the Pfitzinger and Douglas plans. The latter are more advanced as they include a lot of marathon paced work. Some of these can be adopted straight into the training plan section here. http://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-plan.php
