Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My babies went for their first vaccine yesterday....
And a weigh in.
One has gone from 480g to 1050g in just 2 and a half weeks!!
Both have fleas and long hair which needs a bit of grooming - if only they would sit still that might be possible.
Anyway - it is quite clear that they still haven't forgiven me for yesterday's assault.
:-(
And then there are more vaccines in 3 weeks, and then the chop in 8 weeks....

Not pleased about Jasper - our 8 year old ginger mog (had him two months now - he's a rescue cat). He lost his collar then brought a dead robin into the house. Wife distraught and daughter upset. Naughty boy!

Cats will be cats... One of our neighbours has a cat who must bring them dead mice when she can get them. She travels through our garden via another neighbour's garden with her catch...

Garfield, some cats are more prone to provoking an allergic reaction than others. Friends of mine got a cat a few months ago despite being allergic and seem fine with it. I'll ask how they established whether they'd tolerate or not. It is a long-haired large ginger tom - very far from hairless!

Lenin has wolfed down two trays of Sheba...so clearly not off his food, just off the Science Diet stuff.

My cat is a Burmilla, cross between a Burmese and a Chinchilla Version... She is supposed to be hypi allergenic. I have no issues, while I was seriously allergic to cats before, but not to her 3/4 sibling from another litter.

Interesting stuff...it would be interesting to see how he reacts to some of those. Even with a shorthair, his chest will be affected - voice drops an octave and gets itchy...and not even petting it.

Problem is, you'd need to test him... I was staying with a friend whose old cat gave me serious issues, but her new one, my cats ' sister', didn't. I spent a week cat sitting her as well, to make sure, then I got my baby :)
