Well he came in and demanded a full feed and has scoffed it too. He must be one hungry cat... or it is hard work decimating the animal life!

My little Barneycat passed away today. He was 19, and terminally ill, but up to yesterday seemed to still have some quality of life. This morning he had several bouts of retching, wasn't eating and wasn't even interested in his favourite cheese. He seemed distressed and worn out and I knew he'd reached the end of the road. I made an appointment with the vet, but I think the stress of getting in the car was too much for him, and he passed away on the journey there.

RIP Barney indeed.

Parents cat had to be put down last week, and he was 19. Some form of skin cancer I think, he had a huge lump under his right eye.

Parents have decided they are not getting another cat. They've had cats from when I was a baby.

I usually look after their cats when they are on holiday. Mum said I won't need to do that now, which is kind of sad really :(
